Maps Beneath
A downloadable game
Cities are built on top of their past selves
Walk through any city with a careful eye and you will see patterns in the flagstones, strange signs on the walls, odd turns in the road.
Often, these are marks of something that is no longer there: newer houses built along the space left by a dismantled railway, white stones in the pavement to mark the perimeter of an historic building, patterns in the wall where doors used to be.
This accessory is a simple way to create a map of something that lies beneath a city, determine what it is and how it reveals its existence on the surface.
It can be played with 4 regular dice (or more), pen and paper.
Created from scratch as a submission for the Tiny Library Mosaic game jam (Modern Fantasy)
This accessory is MOSAIC Strict
You can use it on any TTRPGs, or really any kind of urban map. Learn more about MOSAIC.

As a historian, this game is so cool! I think incorporating the position the dice land in is a really neat way of connecting the game's mechanics to the content
Thanks for the kind words! I'm constantly looking for ways to include history into ttrpgs, so I'm very glad I hit the mark!
